Susan Boyle, Nicholas McDonald and Kaye Adams are among celebrities supporting this year's Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund's Wee Box appeal, which urges people to give up a favourite treat like coffee or chocolate for the 40 days of Lent, put the money saved in a 'Wee Box' and then give it to SCIAF.

Money raised is to be matched by DFID's UK Aid Match scheme, and will go towards help women farmers in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Malawi and Rwanda to grow more food, boost their incomes, and have a bigger say in their communities.
